MIKE KIAMANESH
Mike Kiamanesh is the founder of Oval.bio, and has been in the start-up space for fifteen years. He has incorporated the lessons learned from his experiences into making Oval a success. He envisions Oval becoming a syndicate composed of independent groups and forward-thinking individuals who share the goal of making meaningful life extension accessible across the socioeconomic spectrum. As we age, life extension becomes even more pertinent, so he feels incredibly grateful to use Oval’s products himself. He sees Oval not as another business venture, but as a life mission.
Chief Engineer
LAWRENCE SASSO
Lawrence is Chief Technology Officer of Oval.bio. He has invented multiple technologies in the biotechnology space, and also has experience in business development and sales of consumer products and capital equipment. Lawrence has been involved with old.oval.bio since its founding. He sees Oval as a creative outlet and an opportunity to create products that make people happy.
Carla Marie Parsons
Chief Communications Officer
Has a multi-faceted role at Oval. She is a product developer, who actively assists in the development of new products and the refinement of existing solutions. She is directly responsible or oversees all media, marketing, and content. She previously served as the CEO of Radical Science News and later as a full-time Lab Manager and Scientific Coordinator at a PCR diagnostics lab. Her good friends call her Kira. Her attitude is positive and her driving passion is longevity science.
Developer
RILEY CASSEL
Riley Cassel is a Texas native, inventor, hardware developer, and open source advocate. He learned the basics at a young age from family members who worked in military and industrial technology, then attended Alamo community college, Texas A&M, and UTSA. He develops sensors, devices, and supporting software in an open-source manner, allowing Oval.bio to share its longevity technology with everyone.
Director of Experiments
JESSICA PARKER
Jessica Parker is a natural-born Texan and graduate of Texas State University. After completing her B.S. in Biochemistry in 2020, she began working as a research scientist and assisting in product testing at Oval.bio. She is Director of Experiments and currently develops protocols for the advancement of product research, provides educational content for student interns, and oversees biotechnical projects.
Kashvi Lalchadani
Blog Writer and Editor
Kashvi Lalchandani is from Austin, Texas, and graduated from the Liberal Arts and Science Academy (LASA). Kashvi is currently a freshman at Baylor University, where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology and a minor in Biochemistry. At Baylor, she is a research assistant and is an avid member of several organizations. Upon completion of her studies, she hopes to become a physician in the near future.
